Liz Hye
Personal Trainer & Strength Coach
Liz is a HAES-aligned, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Certified Health Coach, with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Nutrition Science, and a Master of Science in Global Health. She worked for several years managing clinical trials, and serving as the Wellness Coordinator at NC State before deciding to go back to school to pursue a career in Clinical Social Work.
After many years of competitive swimming and CrossFit, she embraced her true passion: barbell training. She began competitively powerlifting in 2016, and now holds multiple state records. Liz prides herself on meeting clients where they are by creating an inclusive environment of learning and empowerment. She approaches fitness holistically, knowing that the foundation lies in joyful movement. Liz specializes in strength training for all bodies, functional movement, and TRX.
When not training at Capital Strength, Liz enjoys volunteering at the county animal shelter, fostering dogs, working in her pollinator garden, and studying to become a yoga teacher.
